Terms of Service

Last updated 29 June 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using PartyOps you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

PartyOps is operated by SquareTwo, based in Dublin, Ireland ("we", "us", "our"). You can contact us at hello@squaretwo.ie.

2. The service

PartyOps is software that helps party and event hire businesses ("operators") take bookings, manage a calendar, store customer records, send invoices, and collect payments.

We provide the software only. We are not a party to any booking, rental, hire, or transaction between an operator and their customers, and we do not own, inspect, deliver or operate any hired equipment.

3. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and you are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act for the business you register.

4. Your responsibilities as an operator

You are solely responsible for your own business. This includes the accuracy of your listings and prices, fulfilling your bookings, the safety, testing, insurance and legal compliance of your equipment, your own tax obligations, and how you collect, use and protect your own customers personal data.

PartyOps does not verify any of this and is not responsible for it.

5. Plans, fees and payments

Subscription plans and prices are shown on our pricing page. Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. We may change prices with reasonable notice.

On card bookings we retain a platform fee (currently 3% on Starter, 1% on Pro, and 0% on Scale) in addition to Stripe processing fees, which Stripe charges to you.

Payments from your customers are processed through your own connected Stripe account. You are the merchant of record for those payments and are responsible for refunds, chargebacks, disputes, and any taxes on them. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe own terms.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time through the billing portal. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not provide refunds for part-used periods except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PartyOps for anything unlawful, not to attempt to breach or test its security, not to disrupt or overload it, not to resell or sublicense it without our agreement, and not to upload content you do not have the right to use.

7. Availability

We aim to keep PartyOps available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or available at any particular time. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.

8. Intellectual property and your data

We own the PartyOps software and brand. You keep ownership of the data you put into the service, and you grant us the licence needed to host and process that data so we can provide the service to you.

9. Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us against claims, losses and costs arising from your use of the service, your bookings or customers, your equipment, or your breach of these Terms.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or fail to pay. You may stop using the service at any time. On termination, the sections that by their nature should survive will continue to apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new date, and where changes are material we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland, and the courts of Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute relating to them.
